I have a number of different outlets for my writing, most of which revolves around my fascination with economics and politically related matters– most of it theory, which is fun for me, but exhausting for most.

I am greatly interested in economic theory, which is my educational background, and how this applies to the decisions made at a personal investment level. Understanding how the economy works in theory is fundamental to interpreting the empirical world around us. My own lens through which I view the economy is distinct from the Keynesian, pro-central planning, worldview. I subscribe to the Austrian School of Economic Theory. The global economic mess is a result of poorly informed economic theory and lack of free markets. I desire to see my financial clients succeed despite this, not fail because of it.

I have also dabbled a bit in political theory and political analysis. I am a paleo-libertarian, which refers to the libertarian movement as it was in the late 80s through the 90s, centered around people like Lew Rockwell, Murray Rothbard, and Ron Paul.

Currently, I am the primary columnist for the Mises Institute’s new FedWatch column, which you can find here: mises.org/fedwatch

My own sites which I edit and write for are:
